Good morning Ally and all! It's a bright and frosty one here.

I'm just back from walking Billy, we saw no one apart from Andrew from opposite us and his dog Jasper. Bill and Jasper ran around for a few minutes. Off to town to do some shopping next. Joe's in college today. He went back yesterday. He started at 1.30pm and was home by 3.30 and that included a 10 minute walk from college to the bus stop, waiting for the bus and then a 30 minute journey.

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Overcast again this morning, but gets really warm later in the day.

That's odd time-tabling Jo

Off to Ourique later, need to collect Glad bags, more paint for the wood store door and then food (and booze) shopping and some special things for when Sue and Blair arrive :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing.

Ally, there is not a hope I could eat a big meal at lunchtime - I'd happily eat steak and chips at night though ;)

I wouldn't normally eat big at lunchtime either Jan...but no way could I refuse one of dad's steaks. ;) ;)

At least I've got a few hours to work it off before I go to classes.

Big..and lengthy..lunches are the norm over here. They sleep them off at siesta time.

It doesn't often happen that way round here, for practical reasons, but I would prefer my main meal mid day, easier to digest

Morning all :)

Lunch sounds great Ally, enjoy :D

Hope you can get all the bits you need Ton :)

Jo, what a drag for Joe, going in for what, one class? :?

Not sure what the weather will turn out like today, but so far it's dry if chilly! I have to go out in it whatever as I have a client appointment at 11.30. Depending on the weather I'll either come straight home or stay in town for a while. Not sure about zumba tonight, will see how I go ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Very nippy out there again this morning; one more night of really cold and then it's meant to warm up again - phew!
I tend to have my main meal at lunch time, but purely because I can't be bothered coming home and then having to cook something. By the time I've sorted the animals, cooked, eaten and cleaned it'd be very close to bedtime for me; so I rather have something quick and simple that give me chill / TV / pootle time. So I tend to cook meals on a weekend and freeze them to bring to work. If I got home earlier I think I'd cook more - which would be better, but hey...

Years back when I was still at school, a class mate's family would have their main meal for breakfast - most was prepped the night before and the mom got up early to get things done. Then a regular type lunch and a very very light dinner. Does sort of make sense, but :?

Ally, enjoy the lunch - I'd never ever say no to steak and would happily have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner  :D  yum!
everyone else, enjoy your respective days with shopping, walking, relaxing etc..

Usual work day for me, but leaving early as I have a 5.45 vet appointment for one of my cats; so need to leave at 4. Claudia (my niece) arrived safely yesterday, was good to see her and she's looking well. But a bit of a shocker to find out she's staying until end of May!!!! She'll be 'up North' for a week and a bit, but the rest of the time she's going to be down here. I wasn't expecting quite that length of time when she asked if she could use me as a base - but hey ho. We'll cope (somehow)! We as a family have often joked that had we known back then, just how much I'd be having family stay with me; they should have clubbed in so I could have bought a two bed place vs the one bed I have now. Thankfully the set up allows for the lounge to be made a 2nd bedroom when needed, but it's not ideal. ;)

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning :)
Not nice at all here, cloudy and very cold, with an icy wind. Hopefully it stays dry till the washing's ddry too.

Busy and at at the panicky stage :D
Going into town for some euros and a couple of bits, and get the cases down from the attic, and try to remember a hundred things.
Must charge the mp3 player...

Hope your days are going according to plan

Morning all, sunny here but windy and cold. We actually put the heat on for an hour last night. Supermarket shop today. We are going to babysit between 5-7 today and Miss Osc is providing us with dinner which is nice. Just about to hang out the washing and do the usual bits and pieces.

Di, it will all get done, it always does, and soon you will be feeling lovely warm sunshine on your face 8-) Have a good day everyone.

Di, I always think that wherever you go there'll be shops so anything that's been forgotten can be bought. As long as passports, flight/hotel print outs and medications are ready to go then that's the important stuff taken care of.

Ria
