Good Morning Thursday

Postby JoM » 20 Apr 2017, 07:21

Morning all, it's a bit of a wet one here at the moment which wasn't forecast.

I'll see if it dries up before taking Billy out. I need to go into Stafford too. John's out with his old college friends tonight.

Hope you're feeling okay this morning Kaz xx

Have a good day all!

A few clouds around but expecting another hot day :Hi: :Hi:

We've been left a present  All I can see is a couple of hind legs and some fur, so probably a small hare or something similar. :o :o

I'll be ashing the clothes I bought yesterday - they're all creased  and I'll be going back tomorrow, to get some more :Hi: :Hi: We dropped off the disc cutter at nelson's yesterday and if he can't fix it, a new one will be waiting for us tomorrow :D :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

It's raining slightly here now, and there's no blue sky showing, but we're not going anywhere today.
I will be getting ready my programme of songs, ready for my next week's Golden Oldies Night.
I won't be looking at the telly much now, (except for the snooker), as I'm getting tired of politics.

Have a nice day. :)

Morning all :)

Jo I feel ok, still very slightly dizzy but it's manageable :) Not bothering trying for a GP appointment today as I'm going to the garden centre with D and I enjoy a good mooch up there. I will try in the morning if it flares up again. Raining here too, but most of Trioscape is under cover ;)

Enjoy your Golden Oldies night Aggers :)

Have fun in the sun, Ally and Ton 8-) :D :D

As an aside, apparently the PM was in Dolgellau over Easter, when we were and that's when she finally decided to call the election  They were interviewing locals on BBC Breakfast this morning! Thank goodness we didn't bump into her, Mick was there to relax and his politics are definitely on the red end of the spectrum  :? :ugeek:  One of himself's best rugby playing mates from years back is now a prominent Tory councillor here and he's met her and liked her, so who knows!  :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D
Not nice here at the moment--cloudy and cold.
The hospital appointment was very efficient and on time.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The Doctor gave Don a thorough going over and then decided he
would go for a MRI to see if any more damage had been done.
They sent a wheel chair and porter for him but poor old me had to
walk and it was a long walk too.
By the time it was all finished i had to drive home in the rush hour
which i hate.
The Doctor said he would phone the results through to us last night
but he has`nt so will have to wait in this morning for the call.
There was a message on the answer phone and i have to get through
to discuss his Cataract operation with the caller!!!
He certainly is getting his moneys worth from the NHS!!!

Good morning all, it's dull here but hopefully it won't rain. We are going out with Miss Osc and the children to the National Concert Hall where there is a lunchtime event for children, including a picnic. It's helpful to bring along Granny and Grandad in case Kellie gets restless ;) We are all going by train, I don't like driving in the city if I can avoid it, traffic is awful, I never know the one-way systems because they change them, plus a lot of the city centre has major work going on for the installation of a cross city tram. Michael loves going on the train. So I better get moving and do the usual bits and pieces before we go out.

Good morning everybody.
Lissie, I had operations on both eyes last year to remove cataracts. Only pain I felt was when they put the local aneasthetic in.
They only do one eye each time so you have to go twice.
I do not need glasses now either for reading or long distance.
Cloudy here but no rain.
Have taken the car for MOT and service.

Morning all :D

Not really sunny, but bright and dry here today.

I'm completely puzzled :?

Glad the appointment was on time and efficient Lissie. Hope you don't have to wait in too long for the results. I know what you mean about driving in the rush hour. I do the M25 much more often than I'd like and even on a good day it's horrid. My confidence levels are definitely not as good as they were just a few years ago.

E's got an appointment with the dentist at 12.30.....rather him then me lol It's a short walk from here, but the way I am at the moment will wait to see how I do before deciding if we'll be doing the weekly shop later.

Hope you all have a good day :D
