Morning Ally/All

Seems I have a cold this morning. And I just thought I was being lazy over the weekend.

Back to bed then meetings from the apartment then back to bed again..

Have a good day all.

Morning Ally, Suff and everyone

Rather 8-) 8-) here too ;)

Hope the cold goes quickly Suff - I hate colds :cute: :cute:

Houseworkery stuff for me today - and the washing machine is on too, so that means ironing tomorrow

Hopefully, the tiles around the pool will be finished either today or tomorrow, so that means Nelson can come and do his magic in the pump room and soon, we'll have a pool we can swim in, rather than just admire from a distance

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy meeting your friend Ally :)

Hope your cold gets better soon Suff xx

Ton, nearly done then!! :D :D 8-)

It's looking like a gloriously warm day over most of the south today - it's a bit hazy here at the moment but that's due to burn off :D 8-) I need to get moving as I have a GP appointment at 9.20 (nothing serious, just routine really) and then probably on to WW afterwards, depending on what time I get away :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, glorious day here and already HOT, yes HOT!!! We don't get much hotness here and this is the second day in a row! I have quite a list for today, phone calls to make, change the bed linen, bring stuff to the cleaners, bring a picture to be framed and we will go to collect Mr Osc's new glasses. Better get started! Hope everyone has a lovely day :)

Morning all :D

What a lovely day, looks like it will be a scorcher too 8-)

Not too pleased with our builders, they won't be with us all this week. Apparently Terry's been let down on another job so he and Steve will be working elsewhere.......something we were promised wouldn't happen!! They were supposed to be plastering the spare bedroom and hall, both are ready to go, but because we had the woodworm peeps all the furniture is now in the extension with no room to spare for anything else. We're coping with a small corner of the lounge as some of the floorboards were rotten and now need replacing. Later I'll be making phone calls to postpone delivery of the kitchen again plus will need to put off the fireplace peeps too. It's not a disaster, but we're living in such a mess at the moment we really could do without unnecessary delays   On the bright side, we get a week of lie ins and plan to take full advantage.

Off out for a stroll along the seafront down to the harbour after brekkie.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all - what a lovely weekend that was and now back to reality - sigh ;)

Ton, really not much longer to go - I bet you cannot wait!
Saundra, my lounge gets the full morning sun which is lovely but the afternoons are quite cool in there. But then I just move to the dining room as that's in full sun all afternoon :D
Jen, that's annoying with the builders; but enjoy those lie-ins and lazy mornings
Ally, Osc & Kaz - enjoy your respective days.

usual one here for me - work and then relax at home

Have a lovely day all xx

Good morning all! We have patches of blue in the sky and some rather large grey clouds too. I dislike hot weather

Tom's on his way to London for the day. I bought him a handheld fan last week as he hates heat, he'll be suffering today. Billy's not at all keen either so I walked him at 7am. Looks like there's been a party in the area of the woods which edges the dodgy estate further along towards the town - there are dozens of discarded small nitrous oxide canisters. You can tell how many because they've also dumped the boxes they've come in - there are four boxes and each box, as printed on the side, contained 24 canisters. All legal though, although there's a massive illegal drugs problem on that estate too.

Jen, it's awful when you get let down like that. Our friends are having a nightmare with having a kitchen fitted. It was supposed to have been started two weeks ago today and everything was ripped out and disconnected but then the fitters never returned until last Tuesday to start fitting the new one. The electrician hasn't turned up so they've now been two weeks without any appliances etc but anyway, the fitters cut a counter top too short so the hob couldn't have been installed anyway so they're currently waiting for a new length of counter and several damaged panels to be delivered and fitted, plus the electrician obviously needs to show up, and they're getting nowhere.

Hope you're feeling better soon Suff!

Good luck at the docs Kaz!

Have a good day all!
