for what it's worth - I do sympathise. I remember some winters in SA when it got really cold. The houses just aren't built for it and everything just gets so cold; walls, floor, the air inside - everything and it's a struggle to get warm and stay warm.

But at Frank's last comment; that IS super clever

It's like that every winter here. The humidity too just really chills you to the bone

I think our cold snap is coming to an end - it was warmer last night, by a couple of degrees.

But we gave up on the back bedroom - the bed there is ginormous and we end up feeling like we're sleeping in an igloo, so we've moved into one of the front bedrooms.
