Morning everyone

Grey and wet here and more of the wet stuff to come. Had a very disturbed night, due to the very high winds and rain lashing down agfainst the shutters. Felt lovely and snuggly inside though :D

Ironing for me this morning - well, sometime today  and a quick whizz down to the local shop, between the showers, although I quite like walking in the rain

Grumpy is slightly better this morning - at last  sure he's milking it ;)

Hope you all have a good day - shopping? nah, don't do shopping - and good luck with the house Loz xx

Morning all :D

Definitely not a day to be trying to get round the shops Aggers, better to wait a couple of days.

Fingers tightly crossed the keys come through early loz.

Gosh the Late Late Show brings back memories Osc. Z did the show two years running, she was quite young so a long time ago, back in the days when Gay Byrne was the presenter.

We're only just having brekkie  need to give the house a quick whiz round later. It's our anniversary on Monday so Z's arranged a celebration lunch at her local pub for tomorrow. Eldest daughter is driving down from Oxford so it promises to be a lovely family get together. She's staying at a hotel overnight so we've decided to do the same and we've booked brekkie as a treat for them all on Sunday morning before she has to drive home again. Should be fun :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Great news Loz! :D

Good afternoon all, it's very grey and miserable here but at least it's not raining!

I went into town this morning, I had to go to Asda as I needed kitchen roll and they're the only ones who sell the one I like and it was out if stock when I was last in (and still out of stock today). The queue barriers were set up outside , I think their sale was starting at 8 and they had the one entrance and lobby closed from the outside with the Black Friday items in there, accessible from inside the store. Staff were passing items to customers and, at 8.15 when I walked past, there were only a few people there buying and the store itself was very quiet.

Tom's gone up to Stoke today to Staffs Uni for a Test Drive Your Degree session - minus M! I did actually manage to arrange it so that he went alone :D It was an opportunity to attend a couple of lectures and experience university for real. I've just spoken to him and he said that he's enjoyed the lectures and has had a look around the accommodation too, the Dr I've been arranging this with was going to organise for him to buddy up with a student and was getting him a lunch voucher too. I have to say, this man has been so helpful, it almost makes me feel obliged to apply for his course myself

Looking forward to tonight, me and John and are off to Wolvs Civic to see Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot :D Been waiting for this for months :D

Have a good day all xx

Hope you have a good night Jo :D Great news Loz!! :D Glad you had a nice anniversary day Kaz xxx

Rare night last night, T and me were alone 8-) So we popped out for a bite to eat, and very nice it was too :D Came home early as we'd sort of planned to Skype with D and Lewis (a three way convo!) but turns out L was shattered so we didn't :( He's home soon though, not quite sure when.

It's been foggy here and grey most of this week :( I haven't gone anywhere near shops today, after seeing the news this morning  Madness!!! I actually had a GP appt re my skin so had that and then returned later for a blood test (not the same complaint) and then after T was there also last night, he had a follow up for a chest X ray this morning at our local community hospital, so I met him there and then we went into the village for a coffee. He's now gone off to Manchester to watch one of the farms' dogs race. He'll get home around 11pm....J is shortly off to work so I have an evening of peace and quiet 8-) 8-) :D

That's great news Loz :D 8-)

I had a nice wander out with B, who got paid this morning (her first ever wage lol) and wanted to buy some Xmas presents. We tentatively went into Debenhams, thinking it would be mayhem but it wasn't too bad at all! B bought a couple of pressies, we also went into M&S which wasn't any busier than a normal Friday afternoon in late November :? :D

Hope all the medical stuff turns out ok Gal xx

Jo, that's great news about T's uni day, fingers crossed! XX
