I went to M&S in Preston as well as several other stores. It was murder! I am knackered.

I went to the Simply Food one in Canterbury and it was`nt really
busy :D
I motored home on all the back roads and arrived home quite quickly :D :D :D

LOL @ lissie!

I walked up the main road to the larger of our two local Co-ops at lunch-time to get a few things that Mrs O and I forgot to put on the Asda list yesterday, and as you say, it was very quiet. More assistants than customers instore.

Mind you, some of the scenes shown on the BBC news tonight, from stores in Manchester and London, looked horrendous. To be honest, it looked like a disorganised looting spree. Yet another American import we could do without.

Well done, Rodo, for braving it .....
