It is one of those sad/happy times, Poll, that come to us all. Sad that the spell is broken, but happy that our little ones are growing up. :D

Poll, it'll still be lovely (although it's sad when you know that they no longer believe), you seem to have a way of making every thing special for Amy :D

Poll - there's no need to feel sad about it.

I can remember when I was a child and found out. The magic of Christmas was still there,
and the new-found knowledge just made me love my parents all the more.

So don't worry.

It was the same for me. I still can't believe that my mum and dad managed to hide presents for us 6 children and when I think how they must have struggled to buy us things, it warms my heart even now.

Our youngest Grandson Maine, who is now 18, asked me many years ago if I wanted to know something? I of course said Yes, and he responded with "there is no Father Christmas, it's your Dad". When I pointed out that couldn't be right as I had no Dad, he immediately said I mean my Dad! In the end we agreed that I still believed but he didn't, and that we wouldn't tell his Mum! Was he still hedging his bets?
