Morning Ally, morning all :)

It's quite nice here now - bright and cold - but my goodness what a dreadful night! :o
So much for a much-needed good sleep; we had the most massive thunderstorm, I heard Minnie wimpering and got up - just too late, the poor thing had had a panic wee on the kitchen floor  Not my favourite job at 2.45am.
It was far too loud - and her too anxious - for any sleep, so it wasn't until around 4.30 that I laid on the sofa and dozed on and off till about 7.15 when I gave up.

I will look into what to do about it, whether Rescue remedy or something else, but yesterday we hadn't even seen a weather forecast so didn't know it was coming! She never used to be the slightest bit worried, it's since she's been poorly (and maybe the steroids, I don't know) - and we do seem to have had a lot of thunderstorms recently.

Bb's back to work in half an hour or so (he slept through the whole thing!), I'll be sorting out some more washing and walking up into the village to collect a prescription.
Hope you've ll had a better night than me, and have a good day
Di

Morning both :)

Oh poor Minnie, Di the RR worked extremely well on Pepper and definitely took Fraggle's anxiety over the fireworks down a bit. It is worth a try as there are no side effects (((((((((((((((((Minnie)))))))))))))))))))))))) Hope you re ok today after so little sleep xxx

It's WW day here, not sure the scales will be kind as we had a huge roast yesterday when we ate out for Mick's birthday! I did give M all of my roast spuds apart from one but I ate a huge yorkie pud, roast parsnips (can't resist them) and a massive amount of beef and veg and a large glass of wine so we'll see

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all - had a lovely weekend but they just go far to fast.

Poor Minnie Di - but wow re the thunderstorm; we had a very quiet night. It is all rather topsy turvy isn't it? :( Hope you manage to have time for a nap today?

Kaz, just seen your comment re Mick's birthday - I wasn't near a computer over the weekend so missed that; please wish him a very happy belated one for me

Enjoy the run Ally ;)

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning everyone

Lovely and sunny, but with a few clouds around. Lots of rain due later tonight or early tomorrow morning.

If I'd have known Di, we could have skyped, I was awake too    Just one of those nights

Pootling for us today, various little jobs that need to be done. Washing in and then I'll be legging it up stairs a few times.

Hope you all have a good day and the sun shines for you xx

Morning all :D

Heavy rain overnight, it was still lashing down when I got up for the loo around 5ish, but the sun's shining brightly now and the view is gorgeous 8-)

About to have brekkie and then we need to head out to the shops for fresh veggies. Mother's old fridge freezer had been sitting in our garage for over 7yrs and as there weren't any white goods here we thought it would tide us over until we move. Not sure how long I'll last out though, the fridge part is really tiny and whatever temperature I set it on it freezes the veggies, hence the almost daily shop to replenish  Okay when the weather's lovely like today, but it could be a pain when winter properly sets in.

We had a big roast dinner yesterday too Kaz, definitely not healthy eating, but as Saundra says you really should have a treat now and then. Good luck at WW.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Quite nice here this morning.

I'm at work, though not really doing an awful lot at the moment! I am suffering slightly this morning. I didn't sleep too well and I also think I overdid it a little at the vicars birthday party. I consumed far too many red grapes!

I'm taking mum out for coffee this afternoon, providing my sister arrives to see my dad. I'm going to leave her and Roy there looking after him for an hour so so that mum can get out of the house.

Bath and early night for me tonight I think.

Good afternoon, all.

It was the weekly shopping trip for us this morning.

This afternoon I've been a good long brisk walk in the sunshine, and feel much better for it.

Hope you are all having a good day,
Aggers
