Kate, I am a minimalist. I don't "do" frippery, ornaments, pictures or those sort of things. However, when it comes to the kitchen I am a gadget junkie, especially those JML, K-tel, QVC kind of offers!!!

I think we must be twinned Frank. I like a clutter free house but I love kitchen gadgetry and have drawers crammed with things I've only used once or twice. I should throw them out but they'll come in handy some day won't they?

I think mine comes from mum. She had drawers full of paper bags and bits of string and elastic bands "because they will come in handy one day".

I'd never heard of it before, but on looking it up I see it can "Bake, Fry, Slow Cook, Steam, Boil, Roast and More'.

What else could you ask for?

But will it do the hoovering or clean the windows?
