Grumpy - after a few beers ;) . came up with the idea of staying in the house we'd like to buy, in Ourique.

We know they rent it out, but are not sure how much they'd charge, if it's lot, they can forget it

So I've drafted an e-mail and we'll have a chat about it tomorrow.

I'd love to - not only because we'd like to buy it, but because it's something different.

We went to Majorca, 30 odd years ago, for Christmas and New Year. Loved it :D

Shell, you could just sit in those windows and look out at the views all day, it's gorgeous!

I can understand why you want to return there, it's such a lovely place.

John's not totally off Bude, we've said that the next time we go we'll have an off-season holiday there and do some walking with Billy.

I think I'm going to have to get that jigsaw ;)

Yes, it can be a bit of a long day's work getting to the west coast, even for us living on the east. I hope you get somewhere nice for your holiday.
