I thought it was probably about then - debating whether to take swimming stuff with us ;)
Thing is, the sea will be warm, won't it? So at least a paddle or two maybe...but don't want to waste space if it's a silly idea :)

Oooh I don't know if the sea will be warm Di - but people go in all year so it can't be that bad. :D :D

I'd go in.

Our pool probably stays warmer for longer as it's a 'size' as opposed to the great big Med.

I think we'll take our stuff, it'd be awful to be stuck without it :)

Afternoon all. It was wet and miserable here this morning but its brightened up a little now. Still chilly though.

I've had a day of pottering in the kitchen. I've made a baked cheesecake for tonight (we are off to a friends house for dinner. There are six of us - three couples - and we take it in turns to host. The host does the main course. Its my turn for pudding this time, which means its my turn to host next time), I've made sausage rolls to go in packed lunches next week, chocolate brownies, gooseberry jam and some Christmas pudding vodka. Just about to go and make a batch of sloe gin.

S has a friend staying tonight to watch the fireworks and L is hoping to go down to the Pav with a friend and her dad to serve burgers to the thousands that will turn up for the illuminations. (Fortunately the friends we are going to tonight just live a little further down our lane so we won't have to weave through the masses down in the village).

Am feeling a little peculiar today - like a cold is about to come. I'm quite thick headed (and I stayed in last night) and have a bunged up nose. Am keeping fingers crossed that it comes to nothing.
