Kaz, so pleased that you get to see H today! :D Hope he's enjoying his new class :D

I've got a quiet afternoon. Tom's going to M's after school as she volunteers at the youth club so he's going along with her and Joe's texted me to say that he's going to visit my parents straight from school so we'll pick him up on the way home from the vets. They love it when he goes to visit, they find him very amusing because he's got such a quick wit

Aw Deb that's awful - I had no idea a CI could be so rotten :( Get well soon xxx

Well after my fainty do yesterday I wasn't sure I could manage town today - I had arranged to have a few hours there with Amy for a bit of a shop and a coffee etc. I ummed and ahhed anyway in the end I went and we've had a smashing time :D :D :D The weather is fantastic - we had a good old chinwag and she bought a sparkly dress for Christmas (!!) in the sale in BHS...I got some cushions and hair colour   Then we called into a garden centre as she wanted to get some plats for a couple fo winter tubs - and after that I dropped her off and came home :D Been really nice and a much different and far more upbeat and self confident young lady to the last time we did this, back in April not long after she had split with her b/f :D

She's sleeping here tonight so will see her later as well - Jen is working today and then off out tonight straight from work - don't know if anyone remembers she was a bridesmaid for a friend this time last year? Well sadly said friend and her H have split, so Kim is back up in this area visiting her mum, and that's who J is meeting.

I'm feeling more like myself although still not 100% but I'll be back to work tomorrow. I'm actually quite glad to be 'normal' again!

Kaz I hope you have the best time with H! I hope you get details though, LOL , some teens really do communicate in grunts and one syllabled answers ;)

  I know, but he isn't too bad - yet! :P  :?

Sorry to hear about J's friend, that didn't last long! :( Great that you and Amy are getting on so well though :)

Jo it's lovely that Joe will go and visit his grandparents like that, off his own back 8-) :)

Mick and H won't be here much before 7ish so am having a sit down before doing the last tiny bit of ironing - B and I went into town but I didn't feel so good, and now my eye is a bit blurry  Something of nothing, I expect I'm just a bit tired

  Thanks Saundra, but it was only four things - two pairs of my linen trousers, a blouse, and a cardigan that just needed the pockets and ribbed edges pressing a bit ;)
