We are only about 30 mins by car from Margate etc.
The countryside round here is lovely with the hopfields and orchards.

Thanks for this lissie, definitely worth thinking about moving further afield for a rental if necessary. We've registered an interest on a house we viewed at 2pm, now depends if anyone else wants it and if the landlord would prefer someone more long term. Should know something by tomorrow afternoon, but will still keep viewing just incase.
