My BIL has an immaculate shed on his allotment! It made Mick feel ashamed of his untidy old thing - for all of five minutes Nothing could tidy that man, he lived on his own for too long
Love the idea of shed judging Di and as for M not being tidy - Grumpy is the same especially in his workshop - sorry, our garage
Off down to the market, as we need a few bits and bobs - a mouse trap being one. The blighter has come back And we can't catch him this time, so sorry, he's a gonner. Then a sit and people watch for an hour or so
Hope Jen and Oschave good news, we've had some more slightly positive news, but not holding our breaths, waiting. December is a few months away yet
Hope the hospital appointment goes well Loz xx hope you all have a good day xx oh and hope Gal feels better today x
I've had to come into work this morning - busy month for me as we have our AGM coming up in a couple of weeks and I have also been given the task of organising a treasure hunt around Bakewell for our company "away day".
Home for lunchtime though and then I have money to move around and bills to pay before taking Millie up onto the moor. It should be pretty peaceful at home this afternoon as the girls are going swimming so I might catch up on some knitting too. I have eventually picked up my needles again after almost a year of no knitting.
I shall probably go to the allotment this evening - you would all be horrified at the state of our shed. Its amazing that we can actually get inside it with all the junk in there. That is my "end of the growing season" job.
Good morning all. Bright and sunny here. I've changed the beds too and everything is flapping, or at least hanging limply, on the line. I had Rebekah this morning while my son went for an appointment. She was off school with a hacking cough and temperature. Later on they've asked me to take Snowball to the vet for her second jab. Such excitment, I don't know how I stand it.

Well I thought I was - I had a better nights' sleep after 6 nights of coughing...but it appears I am having one of the reactions to the ABs which isn't too pleasant I'm back to coughing for England headaches and high temps......spoke to D on the phone this morning and she says she wishes I was able to see Lily cos she feels bad other people seeing/cuddling her before I do - bless her! I still feel very weepy about it all, but nothing I can do
T had booked us tickets to the races at our local course today - it's a lovely day and if I'd been a bit more myself....I feel I am letting him down if I don't go, but it's only a small meeting today (no doubt why the tickets were a good price!) and he says he's fine going alone....
Hugs to all xx - hope M's dental appointment went ok Kaz x
Good afternoon all, it's cloudy but quite warm here. I'm catching up on some TV as I've hardly been able to get near the TV while Tom and M have been here over the school holidays.
I've been to the gym and then done some shopping. The washing is on the line. Most of it anyway. I'm having a 'sock stand-off' with Tom. I hate hate HATE touching dirty socks and they all know this and John and Joe turn their socks the right way before putting them in the wash but Tom doesn't always, and since the start of the week the same pairs - some turned inside out, others in a ball - are being put in the washing basket by Tom and removed (with a bag over my hand) by me and put back in his room. Perhaps he'll eventually take the hint, maybe when he runs out of socks. If I say anything he'll start arguing, but he knows what he should be doing anyway without me having to tell him every time he puts anything in the wash.
I need to do the weekly shop tonight so I'll do the meal plan for the week in a bit.
Hope everyone has a good day, and that you're soon feeling better Gal xx
