PP you're not the only one!  I never seem to have enough free time to play online these days, I am so sorry

Work is as mad as ever, and typically it's that time of year again, the holiday season, so we are short staffed...guess who works a full clinic alone though? I actually had a few tears of frustration after work on Saturday, I think its generally assumed I am coping because I do, but it's like a swan - cool and calm on the surface but pedalling away like mad underneath :| We have a new optician too who is working with me today and tomorrow.....not usual to have any clinic on a Monday so I hope this doesn't last...

Donna is still expecting, although she is huuuge bless her. She's in such a lot of pain as well, baby's head has been engaged for a couple of weeks now and she is easily term for weight (6lbs 2) but D is still 'only' 37 weeks so they are trying to keep her cooking a bit longer....can't wait now! :D

Hope everyone is ok and once again apologies for not posting more, looks like this will be the norm for a while    xxxx

Paddy, Gal don't worry :) RL has to take priority, and I think we are easy going enough here for people to come and go as they please ;) :)

All the best to D, Gal, but she could well be 'cooking' for a good few weeks yet........I hope all goes well when baby comes :) 8-)

I'm in a mood now, got back from town, went to put my washing out and someone has put something in the machine with a tissue in the pocket, so everything is covered in tiny little fluffy 'bits' A dark wash too, with a couple of little cotton cardis in, so I've had to put it all back though on rinse again  :x Doesn't matter how many times I ask them to check their pockets, it still happens

Hi everyone. :D

Had a great morning at work - it's certainly getting my brain into thinking quickly for translating.

Had a swim when I got home and I just lay in the water floating for a while.

We have terrals wafting over from Africa - it is a typical blistering hot August day here. :D

Walking into town shortly with Don to get a few bits, have a few beers and and a bite to eat.

Too hot to cook.

Enjoy the rest of the day. :D

Good afternoon everybody.

Bright sunshine but still cool in the breeze. Had rain and strong winds last night.
Jenny, I have my car insured with LV. They were very good in February when I made a small claim. Caught the nearside rear wheel arch on the metal gate post when I was turning into the car park for our doctors surgery. Phoned LV and arranged to take it to the repairers the following morning.Got a phone call in the afternoon to say that repairs had ben agreed. Arranged to take the car in on the following Monday to have the repairs done while we were away on holiday. Both LV and the repairers were very good.
Osc, good to hear you won't have to wear wellies any more.
Rodo, you must be ambidextrous, drinking and sewing at the same time!!
