Sorry Osc I have just seen your post, so glad the little one is better.
My grandson had to be rushed to A@E last year terrible allergy caused by pollen Yasmin my daughter said the lower lids on his eyes turned inside out along with other frightening symptoms, she rang me two days ago saying he has had a reaction again this past few days. He is on medication again. Yasmin has to take anti histamine tablets every day. Chemical sprays contribute a lot to these allergies in Yasmin's case animal hairs hay fever.
Hope those who suffer with them young and old find the answer to this miserable often frightening condition.

Sorry to hear that Osc, and Kate.
as a mum of an allergy child it's been hard and interesting to keep her away from these things. We started as a pre 1 year old having to avoid egg, wheat, soy, fish, all nuts and all dairy. It wasn't easy. Thank goodness all her allergies were picked up before she started eating, but she was reacting when I ate them, if that makes sense. and now at the grand old age of 5(!!!) she has outgrown them all!!!! Yes, I did the happy dance!!

A friend of mines child was anaphalatic to alot of things. Our theory was that there were more serious allergies around as the child mortatily rate had decreased. we theorised that in the 'old days' without the blood testing and medical interventions readly available now, that alot of these children would have died in early infancy or preschool years. but i'm not sure how that explains the last 60 years. I also think that there are just more foods around now that would not have been available before, and food is definately tinkered with, processed, proteins extracted etc alot more. A simple loaf of bread, is now nolonger a simple loaf of bread.
Everything happens for a reason
