How to embarrass a 13 year old

Postby JoM » 28 Apr 2014, 21:57

...boy in one easy step :P

We had an hour to kill in Manchester on Saturday before getting the tram to Old Trafford so were having a walk around the shops. When we came out of the Arndale there was a fella singing and people handing out leaflets, it looked like some sort of campaign. I was glancing across at what was going on when I spotted Bez standing around.

Happy Mondays maraca playing, freaky dancin', winner of Celeb Big Brother, legend in our house Bez! Both me and John love Happy Mondays and think Bez is fab so I got my phone out to take a photo to send to John. Joe was horrified and was walking beside me saying "No...no...no..no.."

We walked on a few yards when I suddenly thought sod it, I'm going over to say hello. Joe was rooted to the spot in shame, still saying "no".

Anyway, I went over, said hello, had a little chat and he was just so lovely and friendly and then I asked if he'd mind if I took a photo...so I had to call Joe over to take it for me :P Bez shook his hand when he came over.

One totally mortified 13 year old. One chuffed to bits 44 year old :D

Well done you. I'd be too scared that I was being intrusive to do that, but I would love to
