We got the bus to the port and walked right along the coast on the right hand side which took us down to Parque del Oeste which is gorgeous.
We then walked all the back along, right through the centre and right up to the very top (a good steep climb!
) of Castillo Gibralfaro. The views are absolutely stunning.
Walking back down we stopped at a lovely little cafe for coffee and cake.
Next stop was Malaga cathedral - by this time it was 6.30pm and the evening service had just finished enabling tourists to then enter.
It's absolutely beautiful inside.
Caught the bus back to our town and went for a Chinese meal - delicious.
We got home 13 hours after we'd left that morning and my pedometer read we'd walked 24km.
So a fabulous day was had indeed.
