Afternoon all, very overcast here. We are off to a competition this afternoon which will be followed by a social this evening - we were all asked to bring along food, sandwiches, cake etc. so I've made a poppyseed and lemon cake. I also made some peanut butter cookies but decided they didn't look awfully nice although they taste very nice - so we are keeping them here and some have already disappeared Image

Kaz, could you have reflux by any chance? I find the older I get that there are lots of things I need to avoid, especially in the evening or else I pay the price with indigestion during the night. Maalox liquid is pretty good to take just as you are going to bed if you think you have eaten something that might cause problems.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

Aw thanks - I have bought some Gaviscon tablets this morning as that worked marvels when I had terrible heartburn/acid reflux carrying Becky! It won't be that cause this time :P

Di I did eat a lot of wheat-based stuff yesterday that won't have helped, and Loz yes I am a bit stressed at the moment, just bits and bobs really but I might post on a private board later.......

Thanks all :) xxxxx

Hi sorry not long switched the laptop on! It's been One of Those Weekends....

Family crisis stuff. I may start a thread about it on Relationships but not here, suffice to say it is rather all encompassing and will continue to be for a while I suspect :| Nothing to do with the new baby though - I am ready with wool, needles and a pattern (nothing from Ravelry though, I bought them in town, two as I couldn't make my mind up which I liked best!  )

It's been a lovely sunny day, got a load of washing dry but very chilly with a strong wind.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell Kaz, have to say I can't abide Gaviscon, the tablets when chewed stick to your teeth :| xx
