I posted on here before nine o'clock but it has gone missing.

So good morning again.

Still dull and much colder than yesterday.
Have been to see our solicitor as we are amending our will. Hopefully this will be the last time.
Out shopping at Aldi this afternoon.

Hope everybody has a good day

Good afternoon all.

Having a quiet day today, apart from dog-walking, doctor's appointment,
and the occasional look at this website (It is habit-forming, isn't it?)

It's lovely and sunny here now, after a foggy start, so we might venture out after lunch.

Hope you are all well.

Good afternoon all, it's sunny now after a very foggy start. MIL left sometime while I was at the gym, she'll be back on Sunday at 4pm (she was here bang on 4 yesterday, she's ruled by the clock).

I've been to the gym and walked Billy over the common, he'll go again later for a longer run now it's warming up. Tonight I need to do the weekly shop. I've been getting plagued by texts from Joe over his lunch break. He's complaining of neck ache and has been to the nurse twice but she's done nothing. I've replued a few times telling him to wait until he gets home and can have the heated wheat wrap on it, 15 texts from him later he's asked me to bust him out of school for the rest of the afternoon. Ermm no...so that final text has gone unanswered.

John had a lovely bonus last month, hence the new bike for him and my new camera. We weren't totally frivolous with it though, the main bulk of it has gone into the savings account :)

Have a good day all!

It must be the day for painting - Julia my decorator has been and finished the glossing from yesterday but the fumes are terrible :( I couldn't sleep last night for them....hopefully they won't last much longer, although she has had to re-do some of it as it had dried patchy, she says it's 'sinking in' which explains why she's having to do it again - she's going to pop back on Monday to check it's all dried well, bless her.

It's gorgeous here today! :D I have been hanging washing out wearing just a strappy top (and bottoms of course!). I went up to Asda this morning for my fortnightly shop, got back and did a few bits, then went to collect Jan from work to take her to a nice coffee shop in the next village as she will be 60 on Saturday :D Only problem was we were slightly pushed for time as we only get an hour and it is ten minutes each way and then we had to wait to be served etc...but she has enjoyed it! 8-) Julia has asked me not to hoover for 2 days to make sure the paint is completely dry (bits rise up from hoovering and stick to wet paint) but I am itching to do it as it's very messy all up the stairs and along the landing :| Must. Not. Do. Hoovering.

Having a minute here before T gets home from work and I cook tea - Jen is at work today and then is going straight to a business workshop in Durham afterwards so won't be home till 10ish - oh meant to say, she had a name check on Radio 6 Music on Tuesday as she submitted a daily quiz for listeners to work out - if you'd like to listen click on the link and then she gets a mention about 2 hours 37 mins in ;)

Lewis has chickenpox :( It's going round his school....he's covered in spots, bless him :(

Afternoon all, very dull and raw here today, damp, chilly - hard to take after the few glorious days we've had recently. Michael is here, he has a bad cough and is on antibiotics for an ear/sinus infection, but is surprisingly in pretty good form. Mind you he has just come in from the garden with a bad fit of coughing, so is taking it easy now looking at Ben and Holly on Mr. Osc's ipad - he could get whingey quite easily though.

Heard late last night that my 94-year old aunt died yesterday - she was a fiesty lady who lived alone until she went into hospital last week. She had a colostomy many years ago and coped with it in her normal "get on with it" attitude, and I think it was difficult to get her to give up driving her car some years back  So that's a funeral to go to on Saturday morning, she was my father's last remaining sibling and my last aunt or uncle.

Hope everyone is having a good day :)

The fumes aren't brilliant are they Gal? Ours weren't as bad as I'd feared, but still not wonderful  Hope yours is finished soon - I hovered my stairs this morning! Don't think there is any damage :? :o Hugs for ((((Lewis)))) Will listen to that clip later 8-) :D

Osc I'm sorry about your aunt - 94 is a wonderful age though 8-) Hope Michael is better soon (((x))) xxx

I persuaded Mick away from his paintbrushes and we had lunch out - then we nipped to Pets at Home as the pad in Fraggle's bed needed replacing, then nipped to see D as strangely the insurance company had been in touch! ;) It seems Mick's email did the trick and things are finally moving :D An official complaint has been escalated internally as well  8-)
