Tending to agree with Di, Gal. You are coping too well with a ridiculous situation - maybe now they will see how things should be?

Michael arrived around 6.30pm, he is "a little bit sick" to quote himself - lethargic, off his food, no obvious sign of any infection, no particularly high temperature. He has been like this since Friday apparently, although he was fine here on Thursday - I wonder if it is some kind of mild flu. He went to playschool ok today and I've to use my own judgement tomorrow as to whether he should go. He didn't want his milk or biscuit before bed, and was almost asleep before I finished reading the second story, poor little mite. I'm heading off to bed early now in case he needs me during the night.

Very successful meeting with the architect, so much to take in, arrived home with my mind completely boggled  :? :?

Osc I've still to catch up with your architect and the plans :)

Since Friday sounds like quite a while for Michael's age tbh, without any obvious cause. I'd hope it just disappears pretty soon but if not it may need checking out? (((x)))

Kaz: The vet gave Prince a good looking over but couldn't find anything seriously wrong with him.

He 'gave' us some Metacam which he said would ease any pain. Total cost £57

(But Prince is worth it)

I can empathise with your aunty, Di! :(

The thing is, over the last few years we have got busier and busier - an optician from a village a few miles away has closed and we seem to be getting his patients filtering through...and the amount of verbal recommendations we hear from new people! Plus we advertise on local radio....so even on non-clinic days there is plenty to do! And of course we are still without Louise for now (our other optom who is currently on maternity leave, she was full time - our locum, Anne is P/T but she has joined us properly now as part of the team :D ) - if and when Louise returns, there'll be loads more clinic and work will increase yet again....

Hopefully things won't be quite as frenetic once another staff member is employed....

Awww Osc, poor little lad - I hope he's better soon xxxx
