Anyone want some knitting yarn?

Postby Osc » 21 Jan 2014, 18:37

I've been doing more decluttering and have an amount of knitting yarn which anyone can have. It's what was left over after various knitting projects, and some undone projects that I never got back to (I'm a very very slow knitter and get bored real easily  ) I'd happily post it to anyone who wants it, I would hate to just chuck it in the bin. Here's a pic, all the stuff in the front row is cotton.

I can only use thick stuff Osc, and actually haven't been able to knit for quite a while, but I offload extras on freecycle, people are always really grateful for it :)

That's a good tip, Di - I already have it on our local FB buy and sell page.

Actually just looked on the local equivalent of Freecycle and not a mention of wool on there anywhere :(

Charity shops are usually very glad of leftover yarn - according to my MIL :) ;)

That's interesting, Kaz, as I have an Oxfam bag on the go, so if all else fails could pop it in there.

Schools are always grateful for wool too.
