A lovely surprise

Postby tonicha » 20 Jan 2014, 14:35

:D :D :D :D :D

Text this morning, from a friend I haven't seen in about 4 years. The last time they came over to Portugal in their camper, I was having Gladys ;) so we missed each other.

They're back in Portugal :D :D :D just up the road and will be with us tomorrow - really looking forward to seeing them :D

I sent a long e-mail to her just before Christmas and thought - odd, not heard from S. and as she said this morning, she wanted to surprise me - certainly done that :D

I've whizzed down to the village to get some food to cook a lovely dinner for either tomorrow or Wednesday night and the house is now pristine - a whirling dervish has nowt on me today

I do like it when people give 24/48 hrs notice of a "surprise" visit, it gives me time to do the whirling dervish bit.

Enjoy your time with them Ton.
