Gosh no Kaz, not you or anyone who has said they watch and think it's good, there's nothing wrong with that! The story is on there, the programme still has millions of viewers.
As I said I don't watch so hadn't really thought about it, but this has made me think. And if I did normally watch, I'd probably have stopped once this story became apparent. So if I usually watched it, I'd be pretty cross. That doesn't necessarily mean the story shouldn't be there.
And if the storyline has helped anyone with understanding what it's like, well, maybe Cal's reaction and mine will have helped a little too :o

I haven't watched any for years, even then it was just Eastenders and Brookside.

Dear Kaz, No you have not upset anyone. As we have seen from the replies to my post. People are obviously affected very differently watching the programme, I feel "those who are fighting it do not want to concentrate on the morbid side of the disease" but would benefit more by a positive outcome of survival not Death. Of course seeing the programme makes one feel very emotional, hard for those who are in the throes of treatment.

Yet another Brookie fan here! 8-)

In regard to the Hayley storyline, I have to admit I have no close association with anyone suffering with C - perhaps if I had I may have felt differently about it all. I also apologise if anything I have said has upset anyone, that wasn't my intention xx
