Kaz, Mick is an absolute star :) so pleased that Chris will be there with you all xx

Glad that no one has been too badly affected. It's dry here, apart from a couple of showers earlier, and quite sunny. It's still pretty windy though but the washing is out on the line and dryin pretty quickly.

Ton, I hope it doesn't get too bad for you xx

What a man--he deserves a medal :D
I managed to get through eventually to our roofing man
and bless his heart him and his son have just been and the
roof is mended.
He only charged £25 so we gave him £30 as he could have
charged anything and we wouldn't have argued.
The firm has been going through the family for 25 years and
they are so helpful.
He has had 125 calls this morning and is trying to get through as
many as possible today.

lissie :D

Oh that is good Lissie, especially with more rain due over the next few days
Kaz brilliant news, what a star :)

It's fairly quiet here at the moment; we've had rain, wind, even a bit of sun, in turns all day.

For an hour or so, it got very wild and windy last night - things started "thrumming" in the house which is always a bad sign when the wind comes from a certain direction!

It's calm now but this afternoon, we had a sleet shower which left the lawns (and the cars!) covered in the white stuff - very Christmassy .....
