We're off to Wales tomorrow to take presents. When we went a couple of months back we went to the seaside, she suggested that we got fish and chips for lunch. Bear in mind that John had taken a day's holiday and it's a 300 mile round trip or thereabouts...and like you, it was a good thing I had money on me because she had no intention of opening her purse!
