After a very frosty start in the Alentejo, we're home   to sunshine and blue sky. And warmth  :kick:

I'll post on the family board about our adventures -don't want the whol world to see what I'm going to type

Chicken something for dinner - possibly with some leftover curry from the freezer.

Hope you all have a good day and Mrs A had a great time x

Thanks for the 'doggy' texts. ;) ;) ;)   xx

Morning all. Very very dull here and damp too - I left washing out on the line overnight and it rained  , don't suppose it will get too dry today. Michael's birthday party today, although his actual birthday is on Tuesday. We were babysitting last night and he was in great form. Must go and wrap his presents, need to have my shower, get some lunch and then present ourselves for the celebrations sometime after 3pm. Have a good day everyone :D

Morning all (just).

Its a little hive of activity here this morning. I have cleaned the cooker and all the units and am now just about to start making jam (when the dishwasher finishes with the jars).

The girls have been taken over by aliens and, without being prompted, are clearing out their bedrooms!!!!! I'm hoping it doesn't take them all afternoon as they also have homework to do (god I hate homework - I hate the way it encroaches on family time. S gets at least 4 pieces a night that are supposed to take up to 30 minutes each!!!! L usually gets 3 pieces which are supposed to take 15-20 minutes. Sometimes they are longer and sometimes they are shorter and sometimes they do get less. They are really good at getting it done as soon as they get it but if they have a lot, or are doing other things in an evening some always gets left over to the weekend).

Mick is working again. He has been really busy this last week - going to work all day, coming home for a cup of tea and then going out again to do some work on a friends house for an insurance claim. Hopefully a couple of hours this afternoon should see it finished.

Roast chicken with all the trimmings for dinner today.

Afternoon all :D

Have had a lazy morning, so what's new then

E was very grumpy earlier, the monitor caused him a restless night, although why I can't fathom as he's quite capable of falling asleep standing up  It's off now so he's having a quick shower and then we'll pop it back to the centre. They said it would be downloadeded tomorrow morning and they'll immediately e-mail our surgery, just got to make him an appointment with the GP and hopefully a decision can be made about whether he needs meds or not.

We're having roast chicken too debih. Bought a couple of M&S meal deals so will be cooking one of the rotisserie chickens later, yummy 8-)

Hope you all have a good day :D
