Glad you all survived relatively intact. Just spoke to my brother in Fuerteventura or however it's spelt and it rained there last night and as he was walking the dog this morning, it was raining again - but not a cloud in sight and a bright blue sky

Off to Olhao to pay our insurances this morning, then need to find some ginger and also a decent dentist, as another filling came out over the week-end. I'm not using the one in our village ever again, everything seems to fall out, come off. And as it costs 50 euros a visit

Morning all, nice and bright here, the towels are blowing gently on the line. Rain forecast for later though. It's a bank holiday here, so I think I will nip to the supermarket for a few bits as it should be fairly quiet. Otherwise nothing planned except for the dreaded ironing - I swear to God if I get to heaven, there will be a bundle of ironing waiting just inside the Pearly Gates for me Glad you all seem to have come through the storm ok. Ally I was going to give you a call during the night and ask you to keep the noise down It's great that you will have such super memories of J and C's 21st, especially with your parents there too.

Good afternoon all!
Glad everyone is unscathed. We had rain and a bit of a breeze. The sun's shining now although there have been a few showers, it's colder though today. I'd been planning a morning in as I didn't want to walk to and from the gym in strong winds but I woke at 6am and looked out to see what damage had been done and the trees in the woods were pretty still so I got dressed and went.
The washing is now out on the line and I've handwashed some woolies which are on the airer in the utility room.
It's half term and I've not had to referee an argument yet. Saying that, Tom's currently on the ground floor and Joe's on the second floor

Glad to hear you're all safe and sound It rained heavily all night and we've been having sudden heavy bursts all morning but not too much wind thank goodness.

Having a lazy day, we're off to Kent tomorrow to spend a few days with the boys so need to conserve as much energy as possible
