Changed my mind about going out to get the beef. We did manage to get a shrub and crocus bulbs planted, it was quite nice then - then the heavens opened, it's been really quite horrendous, thunder too
Had to make a decision whether to thaw something and remembered some frying steak in the freezer; also have puff pastry so am going to make a steak, mushroom & red wine pie instead
It's brightening up again now but the back garden is a lake

I went and got the paper from Sainsbury's in the end. Mick dropped me as he goes right past there on his way out of town with H, and I walked back. I stocked up on milk, bread and fruit so I don't have to go tomorrow or Tuesday - I want to get my hair cut and get to the PO over the next couple of days, so it was a job out of the way

It was lovely sunshine here earlier, I didn't even wear a coat or jacket, just my long jumper over my jeans and boots, but now it is really looking like rain

We sat out on the smaller of the 2 front balconies for a while, but had to come in

It was too hot

Then, when the clouds came over (white, very high fluffy things) I went back out and am now very brown with white bits
