stupid me opened an e mail from amazon
and it was a roque one
i immediatly rang amazon changed my password
and sent them my roque email
what else can i do
will it get into my details on my credit card and stuff
its never happened before
i could kick my self :evil:

If it was just an email Saundra it can't get in anywhere, all they have is your email address.
Did you just open it, or did you click on any link or anything?
Unless you actually told them your details then they can't get anywhere :?

just delete it, i had one of those emails yesterday about an order i had placed.......i panicked for a nano second and then deleted it! lol!

You have done all the right things Saundra, and assuming that you did not click any links, or respond in any way, you should be OK. Reporting to Amazon and changing your password was a good move.

However, your email address has been harvested in some way, so here's a tip for everyone for the future: never ever give out your email address as an actual address, whether it be on a forum or Facebook or Twitter or anywhere. Harvesters are looking for a string such as frank'smail747@somemail.co.uk so if you need to pass on your email break it up to something like frank's mail 747 @ somemail dot co dot uk.

BTW the email addy I have given is false.

I panicked after I opened it so replied told them to p. Off
then logged into amazon it looked ok so I rang them sent them the email from rogue email and have changed my pass sword,
