It gets me thinking when one happens, but I'm not in any danger of upping sticks and moving due to the risks.

Make sure you have one too. It's not just earthquakes and volcanos that you may need one. I would imagine flooding for a few on here would be more of a real concern.

Glad you are presumably away from the fault line, Weka. The same one that probably goes all the way to Chine and caused the recent quake there. I have no need to worry about flooding, that is until the water laps around the top of the cathedral tower By the way what do you put in your CD bag?
