That's the bit I really don't get - pay a fortune to attend something, but get so drunk you cannot possibly enjoy it. Crazy.

That's the thing - I've been to quite a few concerts where there have been drunks nearby, and you wonder what is the point, they paid very little attention to the performance and just were a pain in the neck to the people standing/sitting near to them.
