Race for Life...

I hope you don't mind me posting this, me and my daughter Amy (who is 8 on Tuesday) are taking part in Race for Life, next Sunday 16th June, in Edinburgh and aiming to raise as much as we can for Cancer Research UK.

I have lost 3 grandparents to this disease, and a few close family friends.....on the positive side, my uncle was treated for throat cancer 4-5years ago and is still disease free and my aunt has only in the last few weeks been told she is in remission from an aggressive form of cancer which involved her having full hysterectomy and lymph node removal, chemo and radiotherapy.

SO to raise as much means a lot to us....

thanks Kaz, didn't want to appear cheeky posting but then thought nobody would mind so went for it its not like it benefits me, Cancer Research UK get every penny and hopefully lots of pennies iv donated £10 to us so far lol!!

Amy is so excited about it! Just hope the weather is as nice as today, will be lovely xx
