Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 12 Jun 2025, 07:23

Morning everyone

A little cloudy, but quite warm and another lovely day expected.

A day of bits and bobs, out early this morning, weeding, more to be done. Nelson hopefully will be up today, to sort out the pool pump. The Artur can come up and sort the pool out :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull here and a bit drizzly. Kellie will be here this afternoon, but leaving a bit early to go and play tennis, she is being collected by the other girl’s mother. I need to get birthday presents ready for my grandniece and grandnephew to post tomorrow, I also want to order something online for my niece’s 50th. I might clean the bathrooms. Edward is busy putting photos on our new digital frame which arrived yesterday, it’s bigger than our old one and the photos look great on it. Off to tidy around before I do the other stuff.

Glad you are having such a nice time with your granddaughter, Cruiser.

Good morning.
A lovely one it is too, sunny and blue skies.
We have been for the paper and a few bts.
MrsC is off to visit Jimmy.
I fancy a trip out this afternoon if the weather keeps up.
Druggies down the road were shouting and bawling outside this morning.
Enjoy the balloon trip Cruiser!
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

Cruiser glad you're having a good time with your granddaughter, enjoy the balloon flight.
Crommers, how is Jimmy doing?
Jan enjoy the weeding.
Osc love the sound of your digital frame.

We had a lovely walk round the harbour yesterday, our weather has been glorious this week, goodness knows how long it will last.

Had a text from our son yesterday, he'd just had a post op check up and, great news, the results came back all clear. Not sure if he will still be having treatment, or for how long. Will find out more details this afternoon when we chat on the phone.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hello everyone - was hoping to have posted this morning; alas it's now just gone noon and I have no idea where the time went

Jen, fantastic news re your son; you must be so relieved xxx
Cruiser, wow that sounds amazing. I'm really not fond of heights, but do think I'd quite like to try a balloon flight one day

Hope everyone else has a good day with all the bits and bobs that are happening.

WFH for me today; actually same for yesterday and tomorrow; yay! Catching up on expenses today so it's nice to have quiet to concentrate. I'll be using my lunch break in a bit to pop up to Sainsbury's and Aldi; provided I know exactly what I want, I can do the roundtrip in about 50 mins  Quiet evening at home today. Weather is very overcast but warm and we apparently have a chance of rain and thunderstorms later. Hopefully the rain holds off until after work so I can mow the back lawn. Front and side lawns will need to wait until the weekend.

Have a lovely rest of day everyone xxx

Afternoon everyone :)

Hope the pool gets sorted, Jan. You must be missing having a cooling swim xx

Cruiser, that sounds amazing :D xx

Have a good day Osc :) xx

Crommers, you've got our good weather! All change here  xx

Glad your son is doing ok Jen xx

Ria, you know how I am with heights, so I don't think balloon rides are for me  Doreen and my late FiL took one over Palm Springs many years ago, and recently she said she would like to do another for her 90th, next year! xx

We'll it's absolutely pouring down here! We'd just got into Tesco when the heavens opened, and it's still teeming down now. We need it though. Not much planned for this afternoon - I might finish the ironing or I might not ;) It's very quiet here as B took Daisy to work with her. Pilates tonight.

Love to all xxx

At last am back online after 44hours of no Internet.
Anybody know of a number to ring SKY to claim compensation.
When I try ringing all I get is a flaming recording.
