Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 05 May 2025, 05:17

Good morning.

A lovely sunny 27°. Forecast the same for the foreseeable. 8-)

And we're off to enjoy the sunshine in Nerja for 3 days courtesy of the boys as a gift for Mother's Day. :cute:

As I'm walking along the beach later I'll have an extra think of mum as it's been six years today. xxx

We'll be back on Thursday. :D

Have a great day.

But I have some washing out in the hope it will dry before the rain arrives. We have a couple of dry days, then more rain Never known May like this before

Lovely mums day pressie Ally, enjoy :Hi:

I'm off to Ourique this morning, for my tootsies to be pampered and I'll drop into Aldi for a couple of bits, also the chemist.

Back to do - not sure. See how I feel.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s cloud and sun here but still very chilly. Mobility class this morning (she does bank holidays!) then I’m not sure what after that. Edward is playing golf later with Michael, SIL and SIL’s father - the other grandad is not the nicest of men, but he’s looking forward to it anyway. If I have to bring him to the golf club I might carry on to a nearby shopping centre as I am looking for a couple of of tee shirts in a particular shop. If not, I might go anyway, I’ll see, as traffic in Howth can be pretty bad on bank holidays. Otherwise I plan to have a trying on session of my summer clothes.

Ally, don’t you love when your children do that. For Christmas, Miss Osc and SIL gave us a voucher for a hotel in Co Wexford, one night b&b plus dinner, she chose it carefully so we could go by train using our free travel. We are going next Monday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Also they gave Edward a voucher for The Ivy for his last birthday and we are using that on Saturday - not a particularly significant anniversary but worth celebrating anyway.

Morning all, it’s quite bright but not exactly warm.

We’ve got a full house, Tom stayed last night as did Jade. Me, John and Tom walked George on Hednesford Hills and then I went into Tesco on the way home for some food for lunch. We’ll have ham rolls with mini sausage rolls, mini pasties, little savoury eggs, crisps and donuts - party food in other words

Al, that’s a lovely gift. You’re in my thoughts today, can’t believe it’s been six years (((Al)))

Have a good day all :)

Another pleasantly bright day, but a bit chilly. We met our friends for breakfast, at the garden centre, then bought a new pot for the azalea we bought last week. We went straight from there to D's, as J and J are up from Weymouth. Lovely to see them :) Not long got home :)
