Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 22 Mar 2025, 05:10

Good morning.

Gorgeous sunshine and forecast 21°. 8-)

My usual walk. :D

David's picking me up and we're going to Gambrinus for lunch.
Don will join us later when he's finished his game of padel. :)

Chinese takeaway tonight and we're going to binge watch Adolesence. We're both really looking forward to it.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dry at the moment, but not that warm at 14C. More rain forecast

Picking up a friend by the bar this morning, as he's going to be putting a different system for our tv to get English - and Portuguese and whatever else we want. The other one is just too unreliable. Costs us less than the other one and also less thanvwe were paying MEO, so happy with that.

A lazy day beckons, as it's going to be wet again. I'm making a new dish for dinner, chicken and pea pilaf. Could be good, could be not so good, we'll see. An interesting mix of spices :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

I hope you enjoy Adolescence Ally, super proud aunty here for Hannah's part in post-production 8-) :) You'll see her name in the credits if you're quick enough, she's script editor  ;)
Padel is really taking off around here, there's a big place down by the Quays, they converted the big empty ToysRus warehouse, and one up near where we go for breakfast sometimes, just off the Cirencester road :) xx

Really hope you can get your telly sorted Jan, it must be quite a nuisance :cute: xx

The beautiful sunny weather has clouded over, but.hey it's officially spring now, and everything is blooming 8-) We're going out for brunch with Em and Dave, to Jolly Nice, a farm shop and cafe place near Stroud. Taking the pups too, Fraggle is lots better with the increased insulin dose :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, sun and cloud here but the temperature is creeping up, just over 10c outside at the moment. I have an appointment at a skin clinic this morning, I had a mole that was acting strange. Since I made the appointment, the mole has practically disappeared - I’ve paid for the appointment though, so I’ll go. Edward is about to make some apple jelly. I have no real plan for the rest of the day - on my way home I’ll pop into the supermarket to buy some birthday cards, three coming up. I was getting back to my jigsaw yesterday, haven’t been into it for a while, so I might do some more this afternoon. We didn’t go dancing last night, so finished Toxic Town. Haven’t got around to Adolescence yet.

Good morning everybody.

It was 15C when I got up. There are some clouds but the sun is trying to come out.

I have ben to town to pick up a prscription. It is the drops fromy eyes. The small bottles are nearly empty and would not last
till the end of the month.

The couple next door must be moving. THere is a big white van parked outside and various items are being put in it. This includes
the vacuum cleaner. I can see it from the front bedroom window.

Wll be doing the rest of the ironing this afternoon.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

My son's partner texted yesterday, she said his lung cancer op went well and all being well he hopes to be home in a few days. Eldest daughter is planning to visit him today.

We're planning another beach day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

We're having April showers in March

Very pleased with this new system for the tv a friend sorted out for us. We now have everything we want to watch - and it doesn't stutter, freeze or just disappear :D

Popped down to the bar earlier, got rained on, so had to wait until the rain cleared, so one more beer than we planned. Jose was happy

So looking forward to Monday, when the weather is so different. Dry, blue sky and a lot warmer :Hi:

Just had to go and look at the outside thermometer, to change it to Celsius

That's a lovely temperature Jen, especially with a sea breeze. Enjoy xxx
