Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 11 Mar 2025, 07:27

Good morning.

Cloudy sunshine and forecast 19°.

Had a fantastic day yesterday with our friends. It's so lovely to catch up.

After breakfast we're going to explore more of Marbella.
Plenty of little places to have a mooch. :D

We've got lunch booked at 3pm and planning to head back home around 7 this evening.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and cool, with more rain to come. Fed up with this now. Although it looks like Friday and Saturday are going to be dry :Hi:

Still can't completely shift all this gunk, a couple more days of tablets might help, and I'm till deaf in one ear

Will give a go at making the samosas for the coffee morning this Friday and then prep dinner, before having a snooze this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anyboyelse who is up.
Only 13C when I got up. Butthe sun is out with blue sky so it should get warmer.

Yesterday was a disaster. As the gas engineer had not arrived by 11.00 a.m, I phoned the company. They said he was in Manchester with two other calls
before he came to me. So I said the cancell the appointment and make a new one. This is now for Thursay afternoon. I got a specialdeal for three services
when I had the new boiler installed. Wil not be using them again.
After lunch I went to the library to renew my Blue Badge. I was told that the main computer was own as the form to apply or the Blus Badge
was being altered. Why wast his not done at the week-end when the library is closed?

Today I will just be pootling. It will include some housework and phone calls.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s sunny but cold here. Edward set off walking to the golf club this morning, his first time doing it since about October. I have a chiropodist appointment at 10.45. We’re expecting a delivery at some stage, it probably won’t come until the afternoon but I’ll leave a note on the door just in case. Quick tidy around before I go out.

Spent yesterday having another tidy in the garden. Trying to get as much done as possible before we're off.

Good afternoon.
Bright and sunny here too, but none too warm.
We have been to Sainsbury's and I've forgotten to fill the car up.
Our neighbour J has had Yorkshire Water round to look at her drains, she's had sewage backing up and you really don't need that.
The obvious cause is the massive conifer hedge surrounding the property of the entirely wonderful Gitt family (not their real name, obvs!).
Conifer roots are well known for seeking out moisture and damaging drains. Sergio, who used to own the flat previously, had the same problem.
Many people would have taken a chainsaw to the conifers, I think. When they start to daamage your property it's a bit much.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s a sunny one although there looks to be a bit of cloud coming in from the Wolverhampton direction.

The bedding is on the line. Think I’m going to make a casserole for tea, there’s just the two of us though as Joe’s at Jade’s and isn’t back until Thursday.

Jen, the days are flying by towards your holiday :Hi:

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

That sounds nice Ally :) .xx

Jan it took weeks and weeks for Becky to shake off the cough she had. The stuff going round this year has been tenacious, to say the least xx

Sorry to hear that Cruiser xx

Hope the appointment goes well Osc xx

Soon be off on your travels Jen! :D .xx

Those trees are a menace Crommers  xx

But cloudy here too Jo  xx

Usual Tuesday here, breakfast out then round to see D. Her garden's looking good thanks to Andy the gardener - he's filled her green bin right up! Mick had to tread on it for her, to pack it down a bit, as it only gets collected fortnightly  Came home and I got the new pansies and stuff into my front door hanging basket, and did a bit of planting in the patio tubs.

Love to all xx
