Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather grey and gloomy, with more rain to come. Mild at 18C.

Not a lot on again. Thankfully, the cough has eased, but the pain is still there, when I do. But on the upwards I think. I'm even feeling hungry

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Glad you enjoyed yourself yesterday Cruiser :)

The weather is a bit better here today, a lot brighter. We’re out having breakfast at Portivo’s. Popping round to D’s afterwards, J and J are up from Weymouth - it will be nice to see them! Will update about Fraggle on the other thread.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Wet

We were up at silly o'clock for our usual Saturday M&S trolley dash. We definitely won't be venturing out again, looks like this rain's here to stay for most of the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s a nice sunny one here although still cool enough outside 9c. We were up early as we were expecting a DPD delivery of stuff we had ordered from Next and I didn’t want the lovely Dominik to see me in my dressing gown ;) It was a cotton summer dress reduced to €20 and a three-pack of polo shirts for Edward, very pleased with them. Then Edward wanted to paint over a few damp spots on the ceiling, our living area has a double height ceiling but he didn’t need the ladder as he used the window washer pole and attached a little roller to it, job done quickly. Now he is busy melting various ends of soap so we can reuse them, we haven’t done that before so we’ll see how it goes. I want to make a batch of soup. Edward will be stuck to his armchair from 12.30 as there is lots of sport on today. I might do some of my new jigsaw, haven’t been in the mood recently.

Morning all! It’s a lovely sunny and mild one :D

Off to Aldi shortly and this afternoon we’re going to Tom’s, he wants John to hang the mirror that we bought him for his birthday.

Peter Kay last night was superb. My mascara is pretty bullet proof but I’d laughed that much that the tears were streaming and by the interval I’d managed to wipe it all off

The NEC though! Had an email earlier in the week stating that the show started at 8pm prompt, we parked at 7 and walked the short walk to the arena and I’m not exaggerating when I say that the queue wasn’t far off a mile long. We got in just after 8, thankfully they must’ve delayed the start. Getting out was just as bad, there are exit doors all around and when I’ve been there before for concerts they’ve had them open at the end but last night just the one set of doors were open for the whole arena. Then it took ages to get off the car park, we were supposed to scan a QR code but it turned out that there was just a fella manually checking everyone’s parking ticket in the dark.

Have a good day all :D

When I came home after lunch the temperature on the CH controller showed 22C.

There is a blue sky with just a few white wispy clouds.

If this is summerlets hope it lasts.

Good afternoon everybody.

I did a shop a while back and it is sunny and mild - wall-to-wall blue skies.

I flipped the mattress and yes, Cromwell, they are heavy. I got some fresh herbs to replant - chives, parsley, thyme etc. and have some chilli seeds on the go. They are Scotch Bonnets, Scorpion (extremely hot!) and Birdseye.

Now it's time for a nap. :D
