Ria,

U3A is short for University of the Third Age. There are groups in most towns. They are for older people who wantto meet and take part in different activities.

There were about 50 at the general meeting I went to this morning to join and find out when and where the specialoistgroups meet. So now I have two days ech month
taken up.

Have also boked to go ad talk to the children at the school again. This is a new class who I have not sen bnefore.

Frank, you have to show your driving licence to make sure yu live in the area. Evidently people from outside the area were coming to use te facilities.
Also they will not allow passengers.Just the driver in the car. But it is well organised inside a large building with a one way system. The counci willalso come
and pick up two karge items each year free of charge. I have used this to get rid of a mattress.
