Morning Ally, morning everyone

Still very wet, with thunderstorms. Had a couple during the night. Warmer at 18C

Will have to let some water out of the pool, we'd had about four inches of rain in the last 24 hours, and it's not far from the top

Another day of trying to find something to do inside. There's only so much reading you can do

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everyone.

It is foggy and damp at 5 °C, but with hardly a breeze that looks set for a while.

The outside bins were emptied yesterday so that should have reminded me to get some kitchen bin bags... but it didn't, so that's a trip out. I also have to go to the post office to collect my council tax rebate of nearly £150 - a spending spree might be in order! ;)

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy but dry here and the outside temperature is just over 6 degrees. Edward has gone to play golf and I’m trying to decide what to do today - probably change the bed and do some ironing. I have to confess that we did watch quite a lot of the inauguration yesterday, we have been in the Capitol building although not in the hall where the actual ceremony was held. Kellie was here, and she was very interested when she saw Biden and Trump coming out of the White House, and we told her that we came out of the same door after our White House tour. I’m expecting a delivery by the lovely Dominik of DPD, stuff from Dunnes that I only ordered yesterday.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Not going anywhere today, planning to make a list of what we need for Barbados so we can start shopping for bits that need replacing, hate leaving things till the last minute. Will also have to take a look at my swimwear, I've lost a stone and a half since we last went so not sure what fits and what doesn't. Tbh I've accumulated costumes in various sizes, but a lot haven't seen daylight for some years so..........hoping I don't need to buy new as it's not exactly the best time of year to be looking for summer clothes. Really not complaining, I can think of a lot worse I could be doing

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hello all and good afternoon. Just how it's already 12h30 I'm not quite sure!

Ally, enjoy the day; a good mix of domestic and fun
Jan, what about a hobby? Crochet, knitting, sewing, painting, mosaic, or even just doing puzzles?
Frank, enjoy that spending spree
Cruiser, hope you manage to find a cap - I hate having cold ears. Enjoy the pootle afternoon
Osc, it's always more interesting to watch things when you've actually been there and know exactly where things are
Jen, that's an amazing weight loss - and I think definitely a reason to treat yourself to a new swimming costume. I had a few that I hadn't worn in some time, and when I dug them out I found that the elastic had become brittle so no use anymore :-(

Well a very lazy day here... another interview at 2pm and then heading out a bit later to go past the vet to pick up some meds and two prescriptions and then over to Karl and Nadine's for dinner and a natter.

Have a lovely rest of day all x

Hope you had success at the market Cruiser :) x

I did watch Osc, mostly with my jaw on the floor  :? :!: Xx

Jen, blooming well done! xx

Hope the interview went well Ria XX

It's been a bit brighter here today, and I've booked us a couple of nights away in Wales, for my birthday in March. May as well celebrate getting me old age pension :P :Hi: Just the usual Tuesday stuff otherwise :)

Love to all xxx

Thanks Ria and Kaz, but in all honesty it's not that great an achievement, it's taken the best part of 18mths

It's taken me two years to lose only slightly more than that Jen, so don't knock your achievement :)
