Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 19 Jan 2025, 07:44

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 19°. The dial is stuck. 8-)

I'll have my usual morning walk soon. :D

Jacob and Inma are coming over to take us out for lunch. :P
It's our local Saint's Day (Sebastian) tomorrow and there's lots going on in town today including live bands so after lunch we'll go and enjoy the music. :cute:

There's stalls selling food and drink from around the world so they'll get sampled. It's a given we'll be out all day.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Clouds taking over the sun  and not that warm at 14C. Bizarrely, we'll be 11C tonight

Enjoy the day Ally xx

As it's a dry day, I'm taking advantage and doing a load of washing today, as we're heading for a rainy 10 days :Hi:

I also want to take a couple of cuttings and I might even do some weeding. Gentle weeding, no pulling and tugging.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it looks a bit damp out there although there is blue sky as well as clouds and the outside temperature is 5.5 degrees. We are having a day out! Most years we go into town on New Year’s Day, wander around the sales and have lunch, but that didn’t happen as we were sick. So last week we decided to do it today, and use a voucher for one of Dublin’s best known restaurants The Trocadero that Miss Osc had given us. After booking it and as I was putting it on the calendar, I realised that today is the 10th anniversary of us moving into this house so we can use it as a celebration. I remember moving in while the builders were still here, but it was our fourth move in as many months and from day 1, this felt like home in spite of the fact that it was barely half finished. We also have some One4All vouchers to be used so hopefully we will find something to help us use them!

Good morning.
Enjoy your warm weather Ally and Jan. I wish the dial was stuck at 19c here.
Same kind of weather here Cruiser, cold dull and dreary. That sounds like a lovely day Osc.
We are having daughter and family down here for Sunday lunch, which will be nice.
Apart from that there's not much doing. Will be watching the footie this afternoon. It's not really a day for going out.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Dull and grey

Our two days away really did knock us out, we didn't wake up till gone past 10 this morning, a couple of light weights these days  Usual easy Sunday, roast chicken with veg for dinner later followed by raspberry jelly and blancmange. Dancing On Ice this evening, no favourites yet, then Call The Midwife one of my all time favourite programmes.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all from a dull M602 in Manchester - the motorway Gods have been kind to us today so we’re very early but at least it’ll give us time to go to the Trinity statue and pay our respects to Denis Law :(

Osc - 10 years already? Enjoy your day in Dublin!

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon all :)

That sounds fun, Ally :D xx

Glad you're taking it gently Jan ;) xx

Enjoy pootling, Cruiser xx

Congratulations on the 10yr anniversary Osc :D xx

Sounds like a relaxing family day Crommers xx

Same evening's viewing here too Jen xx

Enjoy the footie Jo xx

Another grey, chilly day here. I put a lamb casserole into the slow cooker overnight, so we had a delicious lunch to come home to, after visiting D :) Fruit and custard for pud, now got our feet up in front of the telly, watching Lucy Worsley historical stuff on iPlayer 8-)

Love to all xx
