Good morning Sunday

Good morning.

A stunning sunrise heralding a lovely day. 8-)

My walk soon enough. :D

We'll head out around 3pm to watch the parades.
I love Eve of Kings as there's such excitement and you catch up with everyone. :cute:

Popping into various bars throughout the day for tapas and meeting friends. :D

I'll be leaving a pair of shoes at my front door tonight in the hope Papa Noel pays a visit as I've been a good girl.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

A miserable, windy and wet morning, so we stayed in bed

Warm, but we're in for a nasty day. The fire will be lit and we're having a cooked breakfast, sat in from if it 8-) Will probably get too hot  not used to warmth at this time of year.

A day inside, listening to the wind and rain - oh, and next doors dogs  They have a new puppy, which has been left outside for the last week. Can't say what I feel about that on here, you'd ban me.

Good luck to the footie teams today Jo xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
I think it's about time Spain got some snow!
We've got it.
The roads are difficult, some cars have got stuck trying to get up a local hlll.
Avery quiet day today I think.
Staying in, watching the footie and keeping warm.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all, no snow here, just rain and wind, it’s miserable. We enjoyed the ball last night, but left early as energy levels are still low. Actually, a lot of people left early, the majority of people seem to have been sick in one way or another. One friend commented that we need not worry about catching anything as everyone has had, still has or is in the last few days of some kind of dose!! We were tucked up in bed before the dancing stopped! I was wearing a new jumpsuit with a sequinned top, and the sequins kept getting caught up with each other, there were loads of them on the floor around my chair  Lazy day ahead.

Morning all, it’s snowy.

I should be on my way to Liverpool now with Joe but I’ve had to bail on it. I’ve got this awful cold virus which seems to be doing the rounds. It started with a dry cough on New Years Day evening which carried on into Thursday. I honestly just thought then that I’d irritated my throat on some rather crispy jacket potato skin and it was making me cough. Friday I slept all day, apart from to get the Tesco order in, and had a temperatures and ached all over. Saturday I didn’t get up until 3.30pm - I’m never usually in bed past 7am. All I’ve eaten since Thursday teatime is some chicken soup which John fetched from Tesco last night. Joe came back from Jade’s not long back and said he’s never seen me look so pale, he actually sounded concerned and told me to make sure I eat something.
He found someone to use my ticket within five minutes of coming home though so it’s not going to waste.

On a happier note, we’re going to be dog sitting in May. One of the nephews is going on holiday and has no one to look after Paul the Pug so we’re having him here. John better not think I’m walking him in daylight though, I’ll be ridiculed. He’s a right chonky little thing

Morning all :D

Wet, windy and cold

Hugs for all you poorly peeps, hope you all feel better soon xx

We had planned to take the outside decs down today, but they will have to wait for a dry day. They go all round the house so it does take time. We'll just unplug them for now. Ed brought the wreath and basket in when he got back with the papers, they can go out in the garage to be hung up till they're dry enough to get packed away for next year.

Well it's back to normal today, we're having our usual Sunday roast, chicken with veg, followed by choccy blancmange and orange jelly for dinner this evening. I often feel a bit dreary this time of year, thank goodness we've got nice things to look forward to.

Hope you all have a good day xx
