Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 29 Dec 2024, 07:49

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 18°. 8-)

I'm off for my walk soon. :?

Been a bit full on since my return so I'm going to enjoy a couple of days at home just relaxing and reading before the New Year's Eve shenanigans and then we go away. :D

Don's making a tray bake for dinner and we're going to binge watch the four episodes of Strike on iPlayer. Perfect. :) :)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cold and frosty again, but the sun is out and it will be another lovely, warm day.

Off to Ourique, after coffee, as we need some fresh veg and a couple of other bits.

Back for breakfast, then I'll do the prep for a bbq, for this afternoon. We will, no doubt, be stripping off the jumpers and socks and be sitting in shorts and t-shirts. For a couple of hours, before it starts to get cold again, about 4.00.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a nice morning here. I’m still fighting the lurgy and trying to stop it getting any worse - nothing specific, bit of a headache, a bit of a cough, feeling very tired. However, I’m dosing myself up as we have a day out planned, lunch and an afternoon of dancing. Hopefully a shower and hair wash will brighten me up. Tomorrow I can have an easy day.

Morning all :)

Dull and damp

Enjoy your walk Ally.
Jan it will be a long time before we can have a BBQ here.
Cruiser not nice having a nose bleed, take it easy today.
Osc hope you continue to fight the lurgy.
Victor not too cold here.

A nice lazy day for us, didn't fancy another roast dinner so we're just having chicken curry for dinner this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hello all and good afternoon
Ally, definitely enjoy a few days of relax and not doing much - you're always on the go so nice to have some downtime
Jan, enjoy the BBQ and hope the weather does warm up enough for you to remove those jumpers and socks.
Cruiser, hope the nosebleed was a one off? If not, make sure your GP surgery is aware of them please! Take it easy today
Osc, hope you feel better and your day has gone ahead as planned
Vic, really cold here as well. Apparently it is 6 or 7 degrees, but it feels a lot colder, because the air is so damp
Jen, hope you're enjoying your lazy day.

I had an unplanned dash to Sainsbury's this morning - I was about to run out of cat food    . I tried two smaller shops yesterday on my way home from Nadine's but they didn't have the brand I needed so I had no choice about heading out this morning. Then waited for an amazon delivery, which just arrived. And then out this afternoon to see two friends. I really would love to just stay in but hey ho....

Have a lovely day all x

Evening everyone :)

Take care Osc, you too Cruiser xx

A very busy day here, as we've had the in-laws round. I cooked - beef in red wine, roast baby potatoes with garlic and rosemary, cauli cheese, lots of veg, and also made a trifle. All from scratch so busy busy busy. We've had a lovely day though! :)

Busy travelling tomorrow - picking up B from her dad's and spending time with Harry.

Love to all xxx

Evening all, it’s been quite sunny today!

Today has been a tidy up and then relax day. Sausage and mash for dinner and anything that’s left over in the fridge for tea

Safe travels tomorrow Kaz!
