Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 17 Dec 2024, 06:54

Good morning.

Walking into town this morning to pick up an order from Boots for Don. Skin care.

I'll get the bus back then Craig's driving me to a huge Tesco where I'll hopefully get everything on my arm's length list.

Dinner tonight is masala smoked basa with crispy gnocchi.
Somehow I ended up with three sons who are domesticated cooks but I'm not complaining. :?

My choice to pick something from Netflix for us to watch. :D

Have a great day. X

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Din't manage to get the dusting finished yesterday. Interrupted with two phone calls. Also after receiveing one Christmad card, I had to goto the Post Office to send some urgent information.

Am going to Lidle today for some shopping.

Itis only 14C but dry. It is still dark but it looks as if there are grey clouds again.

Enjoy yur shopping Ally.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Sun and clouds and a very pleasant 20C later 8-)

Blasted cat is doing my head in. Wants to go out, wants to come in, go out, back in, wants food, wants biscuits................ This has been going on for the last couple of hours. She's now gone to bed, honestly, it's like having a two year old in the house

We have some lovely friends here. Don't get to see some of them that often, but the messages have been pouring in, as the jungle drums are a little slow, now Mitch is no longer with us

Off to Ourique soon, to get the dressing changed and then we'll get the last of the shopping. As I'm not really cooking, we don't need a lot. >Need to get <Grumpy's inhalers too.

Breakfast when we get back and another not a lot day. Glad it's warmer though :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning everyone

Ally, hope you get everything at Tesco - good luck. Dinner sounds interesting; two items I would like but not sure about at the same time ;)
Cruiser, hope you get everything you need at Lidl. I should try and get to one myself as they usually have a good range of German Christmas foods which Aldi unfortunately don't have.
Jan, glad to hear the friends are rallying round. As for Molly; welcome to my world

Not all that much on the agenda for me; the usual Sainsbury's shopping, and thinking about it, will drive that bit further and see what's available at Lidl as well. Then hopefully a few hours at the allotment; but that is about it.
Weather is very dull and not very inspiring.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Dull and overcast

Not sure what we're doing today, don't feel like going out, it's just started to drizzle. Methinks a lazy day beckons.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all,it’s damp and dreary here with occasional showers. I was up and out early as I was having bloods done at 10am, part of Preventive Practice for oldies. My b/p was normal which was good as I usually have white coat syndrome. My weight and height were noted and my waist measurement. I have an appointment with the doc next Monday who will review all this together with the bloods results and have a general chat about my health.

After that, I went to a nearby cafe for a scone and tea as I had been fasting overnight. Then I had a few bits and pieces to do on the way home so didn’t get home until after midday. Glad to get in out of the dreary day. Don’t fancy doing much for the rest of the day.

Jan, glad so many friends are there for you :D xx

Afternoon Cruiser :) xx

Lidl are pretty good for deli type stuff Ria, hope you found what you wanted xx

(((Saundra))) xx

Crommers we keep Timpsons going with key cutting I reckon! B is a terror for losing them  xx

A lazy day sounds perfect Jen :D xx

Osc, that's interesting about waist measurement, I've read that it's a better indicator for health than actual weight 8-) xx

It's been sunny here today, so I put the machine on again before Mick and I went out for breakfast. Round to D's at lunchtime. Did my nails when we got home :D

Love to all xxx
