Good morning.

Clear skies and sunny. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly.

Back for chef Conor's bacon butties. :)

I need to pack then paint my nails.

SCD final tonight. It's been a fantastic series. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A blamy 6C at t he moment, warming up to 17C later

Off to the centro de saude this morning, so the nurse can have a look at the wound and do a clear up, if needed. Will get some eggs and lovely bread for breakfast.

Pit stop at the bar for a coffee and gossip, then back for breakfast and a very lazy day.

Have taken a curry out of the freezer, so just do some rice and poppadoms.

Washing will need to be done too - this is where it could be tricky - Grumpy hardly ever puts clothes on the line, so a lesson or three

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

God morning Ally , Jan B and anybody else who is up.
It was 14C when I got up. There is now blue sky with a few clouds. There has ben some rain as the car was wet.
Going to the bank for some more money. Some of thr shops I use only accept cash. They refuse to pay the bank charges for using credit ot debit cards.

Back home it will be just pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s sunny.

We’re just trying to decide what to do today. John dropped Joe at Stafford station at 8, he and some friends are off to Cheltenham for the races. Rather him than me being outside in a suit all day, saying that though the Tesco delivery man was wearing shorts yesterday

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s a bright sunny one here. Today is the very start of what we Irish call the Grand Auld Stretch, i.e the days getting longer even if only by seconds. I know the 21st is officially the shortest day but in reality the sun starts setting just a teeny bit earlier from today. I’m going to my sister’s house this morning, she is going to Cork tomorrow until Monday and will bring the presents for the Cork family, so I’ll drop them to her. Back to “maybe” clean the bathroom - or change the bed - or do some ironing - or maybe do nothing. Looking forward to the Strictly final tonight, the standard has been terrific this year.

Jo, it always amuses me to see young men (everyone is younger than I am  ) out in puffer jackets, hats, scarves, gloves - and shorts!

Morning all :)

Damp and overcast

We were up extra early to do the M&S trolley dash. Arrived 15mins after they opened and it was already quite busy, there was only one till open and the queue was getting bigger, by the time we got through checkout all the tills were in full swing. Dread to think what it's like now

Strictly tonight, can't wait, this series has been brilliant. Really want to see Chris & Dianne take the glitter ball, but in all honestly all 4 couples deserve a prize, they're all excellent.

Operation spare room today, it's become a bit of a dumping ground

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Hope you enjoyed the butties, Ally. :) .xx

I'm sure Grumpy can manage.Jan  xx

Enjoy looking Cruiser xx

It's quite cold here today Jo, can't say I would want to be at the racecourse today without a big coat, it's quite exposed up there  .xx

Osc that makes me laugh too  xx

All the shops are absolutely having at the moment Jen, you did right to go early! As we were coming out of the Quays car park at about.11.30 there was a long line of.cars queuing to get in. xx

We've been out for breakfast, had a.stroll round the Christmas market, watched the skaters for a bit, then round to see D. Since getting home I've made savoury mince ready for dinner, and sorted out the Christmas presents into their bags so I know exactly what's what - ready for wrapping either tomorrow or Monday 8-)

Love to all xxx

We ended up going into Lichfield, it was very busy but luckily we don’t have to worry about finding a parking space. John’s office is right in the city centre and they have a private car park. Even our lads know the entry code and use it if they go into the city

Osc, we were saying earlier about girls in woolly hats and unzipped puffa jackets with crop tops underneath.
