Good morning Sunday

Good morning.

Stunning sunrise and forecast 22°. 8-)

Conor came over Friday afternoon and we've been enjoying being with him. So much that I forgot to post yesterday.

I'll go for my walk shortly then back to put the Christmas tree up. :)

TV tonight. I might combust at the SCD result.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Winter is here  Bitterly cold wind although the sun is out and single figures at night from now on  No much more during the day, only 15C today.

Washing machine is on, I-m getting the bedding washed and ironed, so that I have two lots in the cupboard, ready for Grumpy to make the bed / the mattress is a very heavy one and I won-t be able to lift it 8-)

I had hoped to get out on the garden today, but if that wind, combined with the cold, stays, then I won-t.

Treating us to a cooked brekkie this morning and roast pork for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning all, it’s bright and mostly sunny here, cold, still a bit windy. We had a great time at the Christmas party dance last night, great crowd, lovely atmosphere and we met people we hadn’t seen for ages. The new washing machine arrived yesterday morning, Edward installed it there and then, and now it’s having its first run with a load of towels, and a second load waiting to be done after that. In the meantime we will sit down shortly to watch last night’s Strictly. At some stage I want to review the presents I’ve already bought and see what I still need to get - official shopping day on Wednesday! I might write some cards too, I did the overseas ones and got them in the post on Friday. This day last year was Edward’s nephew’s wedding, there were photos on my FB memories, including one of Edward and his two brothers - hard to believe that just over a month later, the youngest one would be dead. I think there may be a snooze in the chair later, didn’t get to bed until 12.30am, way past our bedtime!

Morning all :)

Windy

Strictly was brilliant last night, I'll definitely combust if my favourite couple go this week.

No plans for today, we've decided ro have a quiet weekend. Dinner this evening is our usual roast chicken with veg, followed by Ed's favourite vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
It's been a foul day here, wall to wall grey and raining.
MrsC was a bit optimistic and hung some washing out.
It's nice and snug here in the house, absolutely no chance of us venturing out now.
Have a good day all.

We're a little bonkers here.

Lots going on next week, and the week after, so we took the chance of just having some us time, sat outside, in the sun and wind, wrapped up in thick winter jackets and just be.

Nasty north wind and when we came inside, it was only 10C outside

Like I said, we're bonkers
