Saundra, I always take my bottle of water and get some sweets from Home Bargains on the way

Jan, that’s a shame. We’ve got four tyres being fitted on one of the cars tomorrow - could’ve had a weekend away for what it’s costing. John keeps trying to rationise it by saying it’s five years old and this is the first time it’s needed new tyres, but still…

We are Sky VIP members and get two free cinema tickets a month - unfortunately the cinema where we can use them is further away than other cinemas, so it has to be a film we really want to see. I love going to the cinema but Edward is generally not too bothered.

Afternoon everyone :)

Lots of posts already so will send hugs for anyone needing one, and a wave to everyone else :)

It's been grey here today, but no rain since last night and none forecast until the weekend 8-) Mick's pleased as it's difficult to crack on with the conservatory when it's raining - he's getting the roof frame on at the moment. Have taken a few pics to send to my sister, so might pop them in the Photo board later :)

Chris is feeling much better on his new meds - phew! :Hi:

This morning we had brunch at Portivo's, then went to D's for a while. I've cleared a huge pile of ironing while Mick's been busy, and cooked chicken breasts with lime, and roasted new potatoes, onion, peppers and courgettes in rosemary and olive oil for an early dinner as M will be starving shortly :D

So pleased that Chris is feeling better Kaz xx

165 per tire

And the disc brakes also need doing soon

So we're going out for dinner - not lunch - on Thursday

Bugger it, what is all the hard work and money we saved is used for? Not giving it to the kids, we'll spend it.
