Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 10 Apr 2024, 05:35

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 26°. Due to hit 30° by the weekend. The pool beckons. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly. :D

Conor's coming over late afternoon for a haircut at his barber when it opens at 5 and he'll then meet us at Gambrinus for a drink. :P

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else whois up.

It was only 14C when i got up and went for the paper. No sign of rain. Grey clouds but the sun is trying to come out. Waiting to make a phone call at 9.00 a.m.

Then may go out in the garden to finish weeding. Otherwise it will be housework inside.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

A gloriously sunny morning and 26C for us too. Also hitting 30C later in the week :Hi:

Off to Ourique once we've finished our coffee, normal supermarket run.

And this afternoon, back into Ourique as there is a talk in the library, aimed mainly at the foreign community, all about the "carnation revolution" 40 years ago this year. We've read all about it, but would be good to attend, as they have put it on for us all. Taking Chris and Lucy, so a beer or thee afterwards

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
A nice sunny morning here; rain is forecast for later though.
Not much on today. MrsC is off for a facial later, I might nip out for a mooch around then.
Have a nice day everyone.

Al, the pool! :Hi: :D xx

Morning Cruiser :) xx

Enjoy the talk, and the beer Jan ;) xx

Sunshine, Jo?! Blimey, lucky you   xx

Have a good one, Crommers :) xx

Guess what? It's raining! Flood warnings for parts of the city, but we're going out as we know what parts to avoid. Need to go to B&Q for some planting to replace my poor dead Narcissi - they were already on their last legs, and Storm Kathleen has seen them off.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it’s just stopped raining here and there is no more forecast but who knows  My brother arrives this afternoon for two nights so I just need to give the downstairs bathroom a quick wipe around. There is a small bit of ironing to be done, also I want to pop to the post office to take out some money. While out, I’ll buy a little something for a dance friend who is doing a small alteration job for me - I bought a trench coat recently and the belt goes almost twice around my waist :? so she is shortening it for me. Big brother should be here around 3.30 and around 5pm we’ll head into the pub next door for something to eat. Miss Osc said she would pop in with the children so they can wish him happy birthday.

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny here 8-)

Both appointments yesterday went well. Devon the physio lady has given me some different exercises. She also said to be kinder to myself, 6mths recovery time was always optimistic, a full year is more realistic. I'll be seeing her again in 3 weeks.

We had a good lie in this morning, all that running around wore us out  Nothing planned, but we really do need to get out in the garden so will see how the weather is this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx
