Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 14 Feb 2024, 06:49

Good morning.

Another lovely sunny day and forecast 23°. 8-)

I'm off for a walk and on the way home will pop into Primor for a bottle of Don's favourite aftershave. :D

We're going out for Valentine's Day lunch. :P

TV tonight. I'm addicted to Great British Menu  and I love BBC's Ambulance. :)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally and to the rest of you when you get up.

It's thick fog here with a bit of drizzle thrown in and with no wind it looks to be set that way for much of the morning.

Only the Repair Shop worth watching on TV tonight so I might have to go and search through the 50p DVDs at the charity shop.

Apart from that excitement it will just be a pootling day.

Have a good day all of you.

Morning Ally, WM and everyone

Hazy sunshine for us today and 22C. At the moment, no wind, which is lovely.

Off to Ourique as soon as some-one can get his posterior in gear.

Nt doing anything special for the rest of the day, might pop down the bar, as I need to see some-one. Yes, I know I can text or message, or even ring, but any excuse ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy your lunch, Al :) xx

Mick and his mum love Repair Shop, Frank :D Hope you find a DVD to watch xx

Jan, any excuse eh? ;) xx

Raining here again!! Flipping Noah's Ark weather, so much surface water about and fields under water by the river  Mick has a routine GP appointment at 11 and then we're going out somewhere - not sure where yet as it needs to be under cover (out of the rain) and dog friendly

Happy Valentine's Day everyone - Mick bought me flowers and I bought him a box of Hero's - I might need to help him eat them, depending on how his appointment goes :P :ugeek:

Hello and good morning all - happy Valentine's day :D

Ally and Kaz, enjoy the lunch
Jan enjoy the pop down to the bar
Frank, hope you find a nice DVD to watch - enjoy the pootle day

A damp and drizzly day here; managed to get to work OK today which is good.
I love The Repair Shop, also love Great British Menu - so if they're both on tonight then happy days! Usually when I work from home I watch Pointless followed by Richard Osman's House of Games (and with both those always realise just how little I know   ). Then it's time to feed cats and make myself dinner and then settle down for whatever is on at 8pm if it's decent. Lots of rubbish some days though.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s damp here with occasional sun but the nobody comes to the west of Ireland for the weather! We are going to Castlebar shortly to meet a friend we haven’t seen since before Covid. It’s only a 15 minute drive. More dancing tonight, my feet are really feeling it at this stage. Yesterday I went to the Seasalt shop and bought two dresses and a top in the sale for less than the price of a full price dress so I was happy :D I’ll do a bit more packing before we go out just to keep on top of it.

Morning all :D

Wet

Happy Valentines Day to you all. I've had a lovely card from Ed, we were planning to drive over to San Clu for lunch, but it's so miserable out there and he's worried about me with my crutches so we're going to put it off till tomorrow or Friday. Makes sense the forecast looks better and we can combine it with a little walk.

I'm doing a bit more round the house now so, with a little help, I'll do a chilli for dinner this evening and we'll open a bottle of bubbly 8-)

Sad news about Steve Wright, he was only 69, such a shock. I'll miss his Sunday love songs on BBC2.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all, just.
I've dropped MrsC and her sister off in town and brought Pat her paper.
Bin men today but they havent appeared yet, which is a bit puzzling.
Groundhog day here weather wise - grey and damp.
Not a lot on the TV today, we'll have to see what we have recorded.
We have developed a bizarre liking for the "Look at Life" shorts on the Talking Pictures channel!
Social history, innit?
Have a good day all.
