Afternoon all, what a dismal day it’s been!

It hasn’t stopped raining and has got heavier by the hour. It’s been so dark too. Our house is usually really light, that’s something I love about it, but I’ve needed the lights on all day. Can’t remember when that last happened.

Joe’s just run in and got changed before rushing out again. He, his boss and the lad who does the site work are having their night out tonight. They’re going to a golf driving range near Telford with a meal afterwards. Not sure they’ll be playing golf though in this.

We were blessed with a problem free M6 up to Manchester and back last night. It’s a rarity. We were home just before Midnight which wasn’t too bad seeing as it was a later than usual kick off and there were a total of 13 minutes extra time played too. Managed to keep warm anyway and we always take insulated travel cups so Joe had his black coffee and I had piping hot lemon and ginger tea for the drive home.

Enjoy the rest of the day x

Jo, it's been the same here. We viewed this house on a winter day, and straight away were struck by how light it was inside - not today though

Saundra, stay warm xx,

We saw this one in October and for a house with such big windows, it's amazing how dark it can be when it's cloudy. No through light I think is the problem.

We went down to the bar, cleared out the recycling and Grumpy was going to clean ish the car, as we're out tomorrow, but then Steve turned up, then Darren, with a heater for us :Hi: and it hammered down

Being totally British, I opened the awing and we still sat outside, got a little damp, as the wind blew the wain in, but an enjoyable afternoon.

What is worrying, is that there has been spate of break-ins, in the area. We knew of two houses, but another three got done over in the next village. Darren was talking about getting a video camera, as he's on a road and an easy option, but it's against the law here :o Steve has just installed all singing/all dancing lights, which are okay. I think we're okay, as someone would have to come up the drive, next doors dogs would kick off. David and Rita are back on Saturday, so that helps us too, but it's all scary.

We were broken into In Fuzeta and I really couldn't wait to get out of that house.
